Pearl Gborglah (ACCA, MIoD) is a finance professional with experience in agribusiness, trade, accounting and corporate governance. She is a multi-facetted entrepreneur with a demonstrated business history in Ghana.

Pearl practiced with KPMG in Ghana and UK for nine (9) plus years and moved on to pursue her passion in building high-growth companies. She is a chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Directors.

Pearl currently serves as Executive Director of Agro Crown West Africa Company Ltd., a company she co-founded. She is responsible for leading the company in achieving it’s strategic growth agenda. Within four (4) years of operations, AgroCrown has earned a prestigious rank amongst the top 5 companies in the agrochemical sector. AgroCrown continues to expand operations into various areas of agriculture, commercial farming and agro-education for farmers through training on best agronomical practices.

AgroCrown believes in the transformative power of business and has demonstrated this through several community engagements such as the renovation of a 3-unit classroom block in the Tolon District. Pearl holds a franchise from the home appliance FTSE500 brand, Midea, and trades actively in this industry within the West Africa sub region under Midea’s subsidiary, Comfee.

Pearl has a considerable track record of strong performance and leadership achievements and possesses an acute understanding of the dynamics of doing business in Africa, having provided services to businesses across various industries. She has led multiple companies to commence business operations, launch products and services and achieve strategic growth in Ghana.

She is a certified learning and development expert and an accredited family business advisor with experience in advising private enterprises. She provides mentorship to many young professionals nationwide and is currently championing a ‘Women in Agribusiness’ initiative.

Pearl also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Savvy Securities Ltd. and the African Gifted Foundation.
